Join us for a conversation with Bonnie Tsui

Our live chat with the author of On Muscle.

Please join us tomorrow, Friday May 23 for a conversation with May’s author of the month, Bonnie Tsui.

Our live interview and Q&A session will start promptly at 4pm Eastern/1pm Pacific, and calendar invites have gone out to all paying club members.

Bonnie is an author and writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This isn’t her first book—you may have read previous titles including Why We Swim, American Chinatown or her children’s book Sarah and The Big Wave. She was an adviser on the really quite good Hulu show Interior: Chinatown, a regular contributor to the New York Times and an avid swimmer and surfer.

If you’re new to the club, some tips. First of all if you haven’t read the book, don’t worry! Sometimes hearing the author talk can be great framing for when you do get a chance to dig in. Second, your presence is extremely welcome! We hold the calls on Zoom, but you don’t have to be on camera or speak directly unless you want to.

Our format is typically 30 to 45 minutes of conversation between me and the author, after which it opens up to questions from the club.

If you can’t make it and want to send questions in advance, whether they’re about On Muscle or anything else from Bonnie’s various work, then email them over to [email protected] and I’ll try to make sure they get asked.

When the time comes, just click the button below to hook into the call. (You’ll need access to Zoom.)

I’m really looking forward to this conversation, and I hope you can join us.

Onwards

Bobbie
