In conversation with Lauren Markham: May 16, 5pm EST

Join us to discuss May’s Curious book of the month

After arm wrestling the logistical monster, I’ve now confirmed the time for our conversation with Lauren Markham, the author of May’s pick, A Map of Future Ruins.

It’s happening live online on this Thursday May 16 at 5pm Eastern/2pm Pacific.

Members and newsletter subscribers have received a link in their email—but I’ll also record the video and make it available exclusively to Members afterwards.

So what are we going to do? The plan is to kick things off with 30–40 minutes of conversation directly between Lauren and me, covering a range of topics brought up in and by the book. Then I’ll open it up to questions from the room. If you didn’t read the book yet, don’t worry! Our discussion will still be full of relevant information and useful insight.

If folks want to stick around on Zoom to discuss the book further once Lauren leaves us, let me know—I’d love to do that too.

As with everything about the club right now, this is the first time we’re trying these chats, so please bear with me as things slot into place. But, honestly, I’m really excited to see as many of you as possible and to talk to Lauren about this terrific piece of work.

And now for the extra promotional bit:

There are just a few days left before we stop sending out this month’s pick to new subscribers. If you haven’t signed up yet, or have friends or family who have said they were interested, now is the time!

New members might not have time to read the book before our conversation on Thursday, but they will still be able to join, hear what Lauren has to say, and get the lowdown before they crack it open.

See you Thursday!

Bobbie
